We will be providing a BBQ picnic lunch in the park. \nThis event will also include a collection of non-perishable items that is being donated through business and will form a trail of boxes across the top of Belmore Park. \nThese items will then be donated to services throughout community that provide to community members experiencing poverty and hardship.

DESCRIPTION:Every year\, Mission Australia (MA) has an information booth at the Henty Machinery Field Day (HMFD) event\, in Henty NSW. HMFD is southern Australia’s single biggest agricultural event\, showcasing the latest in machinery and farm equipment\, outdoors and camping products\, farm produce\, agronomy\, country lifestyle\, government and health services\, agribusiness and finance services. \nMA uses this opportunity to inform and connect visitors with a suite of programs available at MA to Riverina residents. MA programs aim to empower individuals and families to reach their goals and improve their capacities. MA would like to raise awareness of poverty in Australia with the Anti-Poverty Week Fact Sheets as a talking point with consumers. MA also aims to introduce MA Programs as a means to support people overcome poverty by increasing their access to community services\, employment and education.
