DESCRIPTION:As part of Anti-Poverty Week 2025\, the Shoalhaven Anti-Poverty Committee is running the Shoalhaven Nourish & Nurture Drive from 1 September 2025 to 17 October 2025. \nThe Shoalhaven Nourish & Nurture Drive is seeking donated items to donate to the following organisations in the Shoalhaven:\n– Nowra Community Food Store\n– Shoalhaven Homeless Hub/SAHSSI\n– Safe Waters Community Care\n– Ulladulla & Districts Community Resource Centre \nHow can you help? You can donate the following items:\nNon-Perishable Items*:\n– Cereal\n– Long Life Milk\n– Biscuits\n– Tea/coffee\n– Pasta\n– Pasta Sauce\n– Muesli Bars/Snacks\n– Tinned Food (Vegetables\, Soup)\n– Tinned Food (spaghetti\, baked beans)\n*Please only donate non-perishable items that are in date \nHygiene Items:\n– Deodorant\n– Sanitary Products\n– Hair Brush/comb\n– Tissues/Toilet Paper\n– Body Wash/Soap\n– Sanitiser\n– Razors\n– Toothpaste/Toothbrush\n– Shampoo/Conditioner \nWhere can you drop your donations?\n– Southern Cross Housing: 69 Kinghorne Street\, Nowra\n– headspace Nowra: 96 Kinghorne Street\, Nowra\n– Shoalhaven Neighbourhood Services: 41 Worrigee Street\, Nowra & 2/80 Park Road\, Nowra\n– South Coast & Country Community Law: 80 Bridge Road\, Nowra\n– NSW TAFE: Ground floor\, 60 Beinda St\, Bomaderry (A Block)\n– Ulladulla & Districts Community Resource Centre: 78 St Vincent Street\, Ulladulla \nHow you can help?\n– Buy an extra item in your grocery shop over the 6 weeks of the drive and donate it!\n– Get your workplace\, school or community group to contribute to a group donation – make it a competition to see which area of your work has the biggest contribution!\n– Spring clean your pantry and donate any of the items listed above\n– Remember that you can contribute and support these organisations all year with your donations.
