Tuesday 15th Oct – 2:20pm – The Cost of Driving Lessons ( for Teens) – St Johns Youth Services – Kylie van Alphen
A discussion with Kylie van Alphen, Manager of St Johns Youth Services re the importance of subsidising the cost of driving lessons for SA teenagers who interested in learning to drive but whose families and they cannot afford to pay for lessons.
Thursday 17th Oct – 3:30pm – Free Fares for our Future Campaign – SA SRC Student Representatives
A discussion with young people in relation to the benefits of providing free public transport to high school students so they can be independent removing barriers to their participation in a range of activities they would like to do and being able to spend the costs they would normally spend on transport on other things including sports club fees, swimming lessons, etc.
