Kedron Wavell Services Club is the venue for Brisbane North’s annual Anti Poverty Week Forum and Expo. Doors open at 9:30. There are over 20 agencies who will be providing information about their resources and programs to support people who are in financial stress.
The key housing providers including the Department of Housing, Micah Projects, HART 4000, Tenants Qld, QShelter will host discussion groups. participants will have the opportunity to ask the questions that they have about the current housing situation in Brisbane and what is available to help.
Workers and volunteers who support members of our communities who are impacted by financial stress are encouraged to come along.
