Kids in the Kitchen supports families learn how to cook budget friendly and nutritional meals. The cooking of the meals is led by the children during the first four weeks of the programs, with adult supervision. During the final four weeks of the program, children invite a significant adult in their life (parent, grandparent, uncle etc) to come along to the sessions and teach the adults what they have learnt, participate in a community meal together showcasing the children’s cooking skills, and providing additional recipes for families to take home that can be replicated for families living on a budget.  This will run through weekly until January 2022.
