Know Your Rights Series 3 Anti-Poverty Week
A series of podcasts will be released throughout the week of Anti-Poverty Week. The podcasts are put together by a collaboration between Nova for Women and Children, the Samaritans, NPAA and the Newcastle Libraries.
The podcasts explore the topic of poverty and comprise of interviews with Laurie Perry, Chief Executive Officer, Wonnarua Nation Aboriginal Corporation providing insights into how first nations people are experiencing poverty; Emma Dawson, Executive Director of Per Capita, giving us a gendered understanding of poverty; Father Rod Bower, Anglican Church, Gosford who will walk with us along roads towards reducing poverty and building connection
