The Poverty in Australia 2022 Snapshot is the latest in their Poverty in Australia series, part of the Poverty and Inequality Partnership (PIP) between ACOSS and UNSW (Sydney). Released on the eve of Anti-Poverty Week 2022, it is the 18^th report published by the Partnership and the 1^st report from Phase 2 of the Partnership.

This report provides a brief overview of levels of poverty – overall and among adults and children – following the recent release of ABS data on household incomes in 2019-20.
