A peaceful, retro-style sit-in to protest the structural barriers which keep people in Australia impoverished. There will be guest speakers including local politicians, CEO of Nova for Women and Children, a member of the Newcastle Poverty Action Alliance group, a member of the Fair Go for Pensioners group etc. There will also be music, chants, coffee and free food. Bring a deck chair and protest with us!
