Re-imaginging the future: Can we create more equitable communities post pandemic?

Over recent months, the strength and resilience of our communities has been tested. First floods, drought and fires, and now a global pandemic have exposed the flaws in the social and economic systems that should be designed to protect even the most vulnerable among us. 0ut of crisis, however, comes opportunity. Together, we can achieve an Australia that doesn’t merely return to normal, but embodies the compassion and justice we strive to live out every day as Vincentians.

This year, we are honoured to have Geraldine Doogue, journalist, radio and television presenter hosting our Rosalie Rendu Forum, alongside Jody Broun, Chief Executive and Executive Director of the Aboriginal Housing Office, Kirsty Robinson, CEO of Caritas Australia, and Nicki Hutley, Partner from Deloitte who will be panel speakers on the night.

Please join us at our 2020 Rosalie Rendu Forum to hear from Jody, Kirsty and Nicki as they discuss the social, economic and environmental consequences of COVID-19, and consider how we can re-imagine a more equitable Australia.

Rosalie Rendu Forum 2020 will be held as a webinar on Thursday 15 October at 6pm. Registrations are now open via the following link: https://rosalie-rendu-2020.eventbrite.com.au
